Day 18. Another 3Hday!

Sums up my ride in Eastern Montana


Not much has changed with the Wind so I guess I should maybe try some different tactics. It's also getting really hot here, with that in mind I decided to get room at the local motel (yeah-its gross) tonight as well as for the rest day coming up soon! I may or may not have hitched a ride 30 miles today to avoid heat exhaustion.  You'll never know :) Speaking of never know, been digging all the awesome rock finds at the breaks I take.  Although, it is slightly annoying to be friends with a geologist who turns your amazing fossil find into a random rock with one text!  Conveniently am taking a rest day where there are lots of fossil sites. Also am heading out earlier and earlier each am, cause once 11am hits the sun is hot hot hot.  Its also light here from like 5am-10pm.  Didn't know those northern latitudes make that much difference!  Have a great holiday weekend ya'all!
